Emulating the authenticity tag found on classic teddy bears, the Royal Crown Derby cypher has been skilfully weaved into the bears fur, constructed using the delicate curls reserved as a frame to the iron red peonies. Two classic Imari stars have been placed on the bears paws, which when combined with the open embrace offers a symbol of love, friendship and trust. The intricacy of the pattern together with the hand-gilded 22 carat gold strengthens the distinguished Imari colours to create an effortlessly striking piece.
