Second in a series of exotic birds collection. A limited edition of 2500 exclusive to The Guild of Specialist Gift Retailers. Each had a special backstamp and a certificate. Unlike the paperweights in the aquatic creatures series, the Amazon Green Parrot will not go on general release with standard backstamp.

The term parrot is believed to originate from the French language as the term ‘Pierrot’, an abbreviation of Peter, was used to describe small birds. The corruption of this term became Parrot replacing the previous one of ‘Popinjay’.
