Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, will always be remembered for her devotion to duty and public service.

“I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service,” Princes Elizabeth said just a few years before she would take the throne, in a statement that would ring true throughout her life.

Becoming Queen at the young age of 25 she would work to modernise yet safeguard the monarchy, making countless trips around the globe and remaining a much-loved figure.

Moorcroft has dedicated designs to the Royal Family for decades, most recently with The Platinum Jubilee Collection. Sadly, no one could foresee that in the same year, we would also be saying goodbye to our much-loved Monarch.

A Life of Duty is a design celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s life for people to treasure and remember her and her long reign by. It features a classic English rose in creamy shades of blush pink and sprigs of lily of the valley- a permanent feature of the floral displays at Buckingham Palace. The flowers were also included in the Queen’s coronation bouquet in 1953.
